Jul 4, 2019 · Glock, P320 and P365 Sig Armorer here . . . The P320 and P365 strikers are fully cocked when in battery (unlike Glock, which is half-cocked) . Pressing the trigger moves the striker safety plunger out of the way and releases the sear, just like on an 80 series 1911 albeit with a longer and heavier trigger pull. They are single action.

I just bought my P365 several days ago. The seller told me this pistol is a Gen 2, and all the trigger issues and sights have been fixed and corrected.

This contributed to building my confidence in purchasing a Sig P365. I came into this discussion wanting the XL given the improved ballistics with the longer barrel of the XL.
