For the online store I couldn’t get ahold of anyone for months and my wheels never showed up. Literally months. I drove to the service center out of desperation and they said I have to work the refund through the online portal. I ended up sueing them and got a call about 2 days before my court date. Only contact I got from them on the matter.

The call center folks are not particularly helpful since they don’t have specifics about the local service center (eg parts inventory) and their scripted answer is to direct everyone to the Tesla App. No one from the local center calls back. Ever. Quite frustrated to have to deal with this for a $100K car. Rant over.

You can check with your local Tesla Owner's group to get the community consensus for your area. In northern Virginia everyone was driving an hour into Maryland to go to the much better service center. In my experience Tesla doesn't try to weasel out of repairs much, but they do sometimes suck at them and miss some of the basic things.

Like I said I was initially declined cuz of their mistake, the bank person (I won’t say, but it’s Teslas partner) called and asked me a few questions about my income. He fixed it, sent it to Tesla for approval. Within 2 mins I was approved with my loan offer.
