*Permanently erase with Webroot* option in WSA Antivirus 2013?
Aug 30, 2010 · Just noticed that the option to permanently erase with Webroot is showing up when I right click on files/folders in my WSA Antivirus 2013--is this supposed to be there? Seems to work which isn't a bad thing Also wondered if this just does a simple secure erase with random zero's combos, etc. as it erases faster than most other file shredders too...

Jul 23, 2014 · WSA is great in protection, as far as I am concerned anyway. The only thing I have against WSA it is before the rollback feature kicks in, the file have been "Monitored" for some time. This "time" can go on for months if you do not contact WSA support with a sample of the file.

Oct 6, 2014 · WSA is different, and yes it can be used alongside another AV product if you want even if it is "full av" as you put it. Unless things have changed, as I understood it in the past is that in that situation WSA will not scan the file at the same time or before e.g Norton, but scan it after the other product is done with it if the threat passes ...

Jun 6, 2014 · I am experiencing a peculiar WSA problem that I have reported to Webroot Support (along with requested log files). Unfortunately, Webroot Support has not offered any solution to the problem. As detailed in my signature, I 'manage' 2 PC's (one running Win10, the other Win7), both running WSA 9.0.27.64 along with Shadow Defender 1.4.0.680.

Jun 6, 2014 · 2) Webroot cannot be in installed properly without leaving traces 3) Webroot CANNOT be uninstalled from a Mac PC without raising a ticket for support to login to the PC and manually enter lots of code in the console to totally remove it because if you uninstall it manually / move it to the trash, after a reboot it's there again just like a virus.

Jun 7, 2014 · I understand that but if I were to install Webroot SecureAnywhere on a fresh Windows install and then Install Firefox after WSA it takes a longtime before Webroot decides to install the webfilter for the new browser. I installed Firefox after WSA on my one laptop 3 months ago and it was just yesterday it offered to install the URL filter extension.
