The Salon Carré. Leave the Salon Carré through the double wooden doors to the right of the windows. In the Grande Galerie, go straight on as far as the white marble columns. Look at the paintings on the wall on your left, just past the columns.

The Richelieu entrance is reserved for groups and visitors with membership cards (Amis du Louvre, Carte Louvre Education et Formation, Ministère de la Culture, ICOM). The Passage Richelieu entrance closes every day after 5:30 p.m. Porte des Lions Quai François Mitterrand, 75001 Paris. This entrance is closed for renovations from 22 October 2024.

At over 6 metres high and almost 10 metres wide, The Wedding Feast at Cana is the biggest painting in the Louvre. It depicts an extraordinary banquet with a crowd of some 130 different characters in a blaze of light and colour. Veronese painted the scene for the refectory of the monastery on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice.
